3. Objetivos

Analyze cultural diversity and diversity in sensory perception and its implications in the creation of identity and audiovisual works.

Identify and relate sensoriality to anthropology and cultural studies.

Recognize diversity in cultural reception and adaptation to the environment.

Describe cultural constructions based on perception through the different senses, with particular attention to visual and aural dimensions.

Recognize basic aspects of interaction with cultures and audiovisual forms of cultural expression related to populations or groups different from one's own.

Teoría.

The topics of the subject will be developed mainly through the analysis of different forms of audiovisual expression, contextualized in historical terms.

Criterios de evaluación.

-Linking the ideas and theories proposed in the subject with the activities to be performed.

-Rigorous analysis with concepts and theories seen in class.

-Communication skills in presentations and expositions.

Sistemas de evaluación.

Practical works related to the topics of the subject: 40%.

 

Final essay: 40%.

 

Attendance and participation: 20%.

 

Final exam for those who do not take/pass the continuous assessment.

In order to pass the continuous assessment, students must submit all the proposed activities within the established time, before any deadline.

The practices will deal with the ideas and theories seen in class. Attendance and active participation is fundamental.
