The aim of this subject is to provide students with a clear and practice-oriented understanding of the European Union’s external action as both a legal framework and a set of policies. The course also introduces the main areas of EU external policy, including trade, development cooperation, neighbourhood policy, CFSP, restrictive measures, and CSDP, with particular attention to the major international challenges affecting the Union.
