SKILLS
The specific and general skills that will be developed in this course would help the student to acquire those established in the Business Strategy Module. The list is included in the Verified Program of the bachelor's degree in business administration and Management. Specifically, the following skills are developed:
BASIC AND GENERAL SKILLS:
CB1. Students must show that they have acquired and understand the knowledge in the field of study that builds on general secondary education and is at a level that, while being based on advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that come from the forefront of its field of study.
CB2. Students must know how to apply their knowledge to their job or career in a professional way and they must own the skills that are exhibited by developing and defending arguments and by solving problems within their field of study.
CB3. Students must be able to collect and interpret relevant data (usually within their field of study) to express an opinion that is based on careful thoughts about relevant topics from a social, scientific or ethic perspective.
CB4. Students must be able to convey information, ideas, problems and solutions to specialists and non-specialists.
CB5. Students must develop the learning skills that are required to undertake further studies with a high degree of independence.
CG2. Show an entrepreneurial vocation to generate new ideas (creativity).
CG3. Acquire skills required for teamwork.
CG4. Show self-criticism skills.
CG5. Take risks, take initiatives and show speed of reaction.
CG6. Apply new technologies
CG7 Respect diversity and multiculturalism.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
CE2 Know the techniques for the evaluation and implementation of ideas that allow the development of innovative businesses, as well as the principles of innovation management that are necessary for entrepreneurial development idea and the management and development of the business plan.
CE5. Know the nature, importance and requirements to undertake, the necessary tools for the generation of business ideas.
CE7. Know the determinants of value creation, the basic elements of managing projects for the creation of SMEs or business units, the determinants of growth through innovation or by identifying new opportunities for expansion in new products and new international markets and valuation methods.
CE.23. Have the ability to identify and evaluate business ideas and establish a feasibility plan for an idea.
CE.24. Knowing how to promote entrepreneurial and innovation capacity, as well as knowing how to negotiate in the general and specific environment where the entrepreneurial idea is developed.
CE.25. Have practical ability to start a new SME, as well as to find solutions to the specific management problems of this type of company in the early stages of business development.
